Once you are approved for Medicaid, a health plan and provider are chosen for you. Your health plan will mail you a welcome packet with your Medicaid ID card and member handbook. Read the handbook to learn about your provider, your benefits and how to access health care services.

If you want a different plan and provider, you can change now.
